To give you a head start on your holiday shopping, this year the Summit Historical Society’s annual Holiday Boutique will take place before Thanksgiving on Thursday, November 16th, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with our “Carter House by Candlelight” taking place Thursday evening from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. This year’s Boutique will feature many new vendors, in addition to our best-selling vendors from previous years, who will be selling a wide variety of items suitable for holiday shoppers, including clothing, jewelry, art, floral arrangements and canine treats plus award winning jams, chocolates and organic items.
On Sunday evening, March 26, 2017, from 6:00pm to 8:30pm come dine and socialize with your family, friends and neighbors at the 30th Annual “Taste of Summit” hosted by the Grand Summit Hotel located at 570 Springfield Avenue in Summit. The “Taste of Summit” is a gourmet extravaganza featuring more than 20 of Summit’s finest restaurants and food merchants. Each restaurant will be serving delicious “tastes” showcasing their special dishes spanning many cuisines, including Italian, Japanese, American and Mexican. There will also be scrumptious desserts from Summit’s finest bakers and a cash bar.
Tickets for the Taste of Summit are on sale now; priced at $50 per adult and $20 per child (ages 6 through 12).
